Mine is a story of radical grace.

For years, I lived in the grips of alcoholism and addiction, trapped in poverty, hopelessness, depression, and despair. For most of my life, I was an atheist, convinced I could handle life on my own—until the day I realized I couldn’t.

In 2011, at the age of 23, I said my first real prayer. And what I could never fix myself, God has healed in ways only He can. Still sober since that fateful prayer, God has blessed me abundantly since, as a wife and mother. This remains my most important ministry.

What started as a stay-at-home mom sharing simple, heartfelt messages on social media has grown into something far beyond anything I could have imagined or earned. Through my signature One-Minute Sermons, His gospel has reached hundreds of millions of people worldwide. My award-winning memoir Pray For Them: The True Story of a Racist White Christian Called to Black Seminary has sold copies in more than 20 countries, carrying stories of the redemptive power of Jesus to readers around the world. I’ve been humbled to be invited to speak at churches, women’s conferences, pro-life organizations, addiction recovery centers, and events across the nation—always pointing people back to the Savior who changed everything for me.

A big part of what God has called me to now is co-founding The Heart Posture Company alongside my husband and best friend, James Fenimore. Together we’ve built The Heart Posture Collective—a grace-filled community for the spiritually hungry. For James and I, it’s not about us; it’s about creating space for others to encounter God’s presence, restoration and healing more deeply through counseling, coaching, seminars, Q&As, a library of Bible-based courses, and sincere fellowship rooted in Scripture.

Along with our private Christian counseling practice, The Heart Posture Counseling, where we walk alongside people in faith-centered healing and growth, James & I also launched the MATTHEW 5:44 CHALLENGE in 2023. Now entering its 4th year, each year we invite Christians around the world to join us in praying for our enemies and living out radical love in a divided world.

I have appeared on CBN’s “The 700 Club,” as well as an upcoming TV series through Angel Studios. Recently, I have had the honor to serve as a TV host, alongside my husband, on Faithworks through the Daily News Network, sharing stories of how faith shapes real life and meaningful work in our gospel-starved world.

None of this is because of me. I’m just someone who was once lost and is now found—still amazed every day at what God continues to do. He takes our broken stories, our addictions, our poverty— literal and spiritual— and turns them into testimonies of His power and love. If He can bring light from my darkness, He can do the same for you.

My deepest prayer is that through everything I share—whether a One-Minute Sermon, a book, a counseling session, or a TV segment—people will be reminded to look toward Jesus and know that they are never too far gone for His grace.
