Meet Trisha.
Trisha Fenimore is an award-winning author, speaker, and one of the fastest-rising voices in the Christian space — but her story didn’t begin in a pulpit. It began in the wreckage of a life she’d built without God.
Once a self-reliant skeptic who believed intelligence alone made her a good person, Trisha spent her early twenties caught in addiction, resentment, and a deepening emptiness she couldn’t name. At 22, she realized alcohol was destroying her life— and that the hate she carried for others was destroying her from the inside out. After years of failed attempts at sobriety and self-sufficiency, just before her 24th birthday, she finally turned to God— and everything changed.
What followed was one of the most unlikely redemption arcs in modern Christian storytelling: a journey that led her from addiction and atheism to the halls of a predominantly Black seminary school in Harlem, New York. Trisha is now a New York Theological Seminary alumna, and her debut memoir, Pray For Them: The True Story of a Racist White Christian Called to Black Seminary, became a bestseller that resonated with readers all over the world.
From a former atheist in recovery from addiction since 2011 to a popular Christian media personality, Trisha Fenimore is a witness to the world that no one is too far gone for the grace of God. She now travels all over the world with her husband and kids, sharing the gospel at women’s conferences, pro-life organizations, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, Christian business leader summits, churches and more.
Alongside her husband, world-renowned Christian coach and author James Fenimore, Trisha is co-founder the global prayer movement known as the MATTHEW 5:44 CHALLENGE, as well as The Heart Posture Collective — a mission-driven community bringing the gospel to every corner of the world and the internet. The Collective offers over 40 hours of live events each month, Bible-based courses, daily devotionals, Christian counseling and coaching, and a thriving community of believers — all built on the conviction that Sunday’s faith belongs in every day of the week.
With over 100 million viewers and nearly one million followers across social media platforms, Trisha is one of the fastest-growing voices in the Christian space— and with God at the foundation, she’s just getting started.

Trisha Fenimore had a long list of things she never wanted to become. By her early twenties, she had become most of them.
Racist.
Hate-filled.
Addicted.
Poor.
And finally… Christian.
More than anything else, Trisha vowed she would never become a Christian. One day she realized the very thing she was running from might actually be her escape route, away all the rest.
In 2014, while riding the New York City subway to a dead-end job, it dawned on the young woman that, despite all her best efforts, she had nevertheless become racist, herself. Following this profound realization, Trisha sought guidance from an older Christian mentor and received advice which was simple, though far from easy.
After over a year of prayer, practice and failures too numerous to count, she felt God call her to the most unlikely place of all: a predominantly black seminary school in Harlem, New York.
Trisha’s time as the only white student in her class proved revelatory. But she soon learned that when you’ve danced with the devil for so long, you don’t get to choose when the music stops.
From becoming an atheist at age eleven in the rural Midwest, to attending a historically black seminary in Harlem, to bringing the gospel to convicts in America’s most notorious prison, Pray For Them is a gritty, searingly honest coming-of-age memoir about a young American woman’s struggle through the good and evil which reside in all of us, as well as her desperate search to find God… and herself.
